Adopt-A-Dog is a dog and cat rescue organization serving New York and Connecticut and beyond for nearly three decades. Our shelter is open seven days a week. Our dedicated staff and volunteers strive to provide the best care possible while the animals are at our shelter awaiting safe and permanent homes. We place more than 250 animals in loving, forever homes each year.

Adopt-A-Dog Animals Need Good Homes, but Our New Mascot Just Needs a Good Name

Here are the Rules: Everyone is invited to submit a name. Please keep in mind the name must (a) work for both a male or female dog, (b) relate to animal rescue or animal adoption, and (c) must not be used by another organization.

The best name will be choosen by the Adopt-A-Dog Adoptions Team.

The winner will recieve a special prize!
