Celebrate Halloween this Weekend with Adopt-A-Dog

Is everyone getting excited to celebrate Howl-o-ween!? The dogs of Adopt-A-Dog are so excited that they are going to start celebrating this weekend.

On Saturday the 28th, we have our Barks and Boos Adoption Event. It is going to be a spooktacular event and there may even be some dogs dressed up in costume. Come dressed in your Halloween best and find a trick-or-treat partner before Halloween! The Adoption Day will be held at the shelter, located at 23 Cox Ave, Armonk, NY. It will be open to the public, so please stop by. The Barks and Boos Adoption Event will run from 10am-4pm.

For more information on our available dogs, head over to our adoption page here.

Then on Sunday the 29th, the Adopt-A-Dog gang will be at Howl & Prowl. Howl & Prowl can be a fun time for the whole family, pets included! You can dress your dog up in a cute costume, see other dogs all dressed up and if you want, you can even dress up with your dog. Howl & Prowl will take place at 290 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich, CT.

For anyone who missed last week’s blog, Howl & Prowl is a costume contest hosted by Pet Pantry Warehouse that benefits Adopt-A-Dog. There are quite a few attractions to lure you and your furry friend in. There is a “bone bar” for the dogs, face painting for the kids, food trucks for the foodies, free pet food samples from over 15 vendors, free photo portraits with Venture Photography and free pet caricatures.

We hope you can make it to these events. Have a spooky weekend!
