SUZIE
On Tuesday July 6, we gently sent our office dog Suzie to heaven. Suz had been with us for a year and a half, the majority of her time spent supervising the staff in the adoption’s office. Suz was a sweet, charismatic old girl, who had been surrendered by her owner. She loved hot dogs, and enjoyed the occasional pig ear. Most of all, Suzie lived for the company and affection of all she met. Suzie welcomed all
visitors with a wagging tail at our front door. It was very rare for
someone to get through filling out an application without Suz edging
herself in for some attention. She’d keep an eye on the daily routine,
watching from the screen door in the kitchen. We loved her dearly, and
she will be missed.
