Etta and Savannah are part of our Home to Home Program. Their current caretaker says: “Etta and Savannah are a black lab mix mother and daughter approx. 8 and 6 that urgently need to be rehomed as a pair in a new and loving home together. Originally from a Georgia kill shelter, they have lived with me for the past two years. Unfortunately, my personal situation has changed and I can no longer keep them. Having taken 6 rescues over the past 17-years this is a hard decision, but the right decision. Etta and Savannah are sweet, mellow and loving girls who get along well as a pair or part of a larger group of dogs. They are also crate-trained, exceptionally gentle with adults and children and truly live to make you happy. They’re healthy, have been well-cared and have no medical issues.”
Home to Home Program
The Home-to-Home Program was established in order for Adopt-A-Dog to be a resource for the community when individuals are faced with having to bring a pet to the shelter. The goal is to rehome the pet without the pet having to come into the shelter.
