Seven Chihuahuas Recovering Well After Thanksgiving Eve Rescue
We’re thrilled to share an exciting update on the seven Chihuahuas we rescued on Thanksgiving Eve—Grandma, Bobby Carter, Lola, Mia, Emma, Ceviche, and Sparky.
They went to the vet yesterday afternoon and are all up to date with their vaccinations and ready for their forever homes—just in time for the holidays!
Here’s how they’re doing:
- Grandma: This sweet senior girl has settled in wonderfully. She’s now enjoying her cozy naps and plenty of affection. She is ready to be the queen of her next home.
- Bobby Carter: Bobby is full of life and energy! His tail never stops wagging, and he’s quickly become a playful, fun-loving member of our shelter family.
- Lola: As she gains trust in her human friends, she’s becoming more affectionate and outgoing. Lola will do best in a patient, loving home that can help her continue to blossom.
- Mia: Mia is the ultimate cuddle bug! She craves human connection and is always ready to snuggle. She’s gaining confidence since arriving, and with time she will blossom.
- Emma: Strong-willed and full of personality, Emma is growing more confident every day. She’s learning to trust and is becoming a more relaxed and happier pup. The vet suspects she also may be pregnant so we’re keeping an extra special set of eyes on her.
- Ceviche: Tiny but full of heart, Ceviche is affectionate and playful once he breaks out of his shell.
- Sparky: Sparky is the life of the party! Always full of energy and fun. His playful antics and contagious energy will brighten up any home.
Thank you for being a part of our mission to give these sweet souls a second chance at a happy, healthy life. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
