On May 7, five puppies were found whimpering and afraid in a sealed, feces-filled, airtight storage container.  They had been abandoned at a Westchester County gas station with no regard for their  welfare. 

With coverage from outlets like Channel 12 and Fox 5 NY, we’ve been able to share the Bedford 5’s journey with many compassionate individuals like you and bring attention to this gruesome act and the many homeless dogs who need our help in the tri-state area.

We’re thrilled to share that two of these brave dogs have found their forever homes, and the remaining three are in loving foster care, waiting for their chance at a new beginning. It’s heartwarming to see them gaining weight, building confidence, and showing their beautiful personalities, all thanks to your support.
