This is an in-store mobile event. Come meet adoptable dogs from the Adopt-A-Dog shelter. Volunteers are needed to assist with dogs handling, answering questions, and helping out.

Join Adopt-A-Dog at Wireless Zone in Glenville, CT from 1PM to 4PM!  Stop by and learn about our shelter, dogs for adoption and possibly meet your new best friend!  

  This is our 9th year and the festival only gets bigger and better. We expect 3000 people and over 1000 dogs at the best Dog Festival in the State. Join us at the 9th Annual Bark in the Park! A special day for our four-legged friends! The FREE event will include a variety of K9 demos, microchip clinic, agility course, fun contests, adoption area, photo booth, vendor booths and more! Estimated attendance: 1000-1500 humans + many happy pups!

Catherine’s Butterfly Party! June 7, 2025 12 – 4pm 3 Primrose St, Newtown, CT Rain or Shine Every June, the sanctuary honors Catherine’s birthday and her love of animals with Catherine’s Butterfly Party. 2025 will celebrate 9 years of finding fur-ever homes for animals in need through community spirit, compassion and love.
