Join us at the 9th Annual Bark in the Park! A special day for our four-legged friends! The FREE event will include a variety of K9 demos, microchip clinic, agility course, fun contests, adoption area, photo booth, vendor booths and more! Estimated attendance: 1000-1500 humans + many happy pups!

Catherine’s Butterfly Party! June 7, 2025 12 – 4pm 3 Primrose St, Newtown, CT Rain or Shine Every June, the sanctuary honors Catherine’s birthday and her love of animals with Catherine’s Butterfly Party. 2025 will celebrate 9 years of finding fur-ever homes for animals in need through community spirit, compassion and love.

Adopt-A-Dog will be at Connecticon once again!  Meet Jon St. John at 11AM on Friday and Saturday, learn about our shelter and programs and meet some of our adorable puppies looking for loving homes!  Tickets are available online at connecticon.org
